RESPONSIBLY SOURCED, ETHICAL MATERIALS
Gemstones are precious, but so is our planet. And unless they are mindfully sourced, obtaining these valuable stones can have a catastrophic impact on the natural world.
That’s why at LORE, we ensure our materials are ethically sourced to not only protect the environment, but the people and communities involved in their production. We work with recycled silver to utilise materials already in circulation rather than extracting more from our Earth.
PLASTIC-FREE, ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING
When you shop with us, you won’t find plastic in any of our products, including our packaging.
Our boxes and cards are made from 100% recycled paper materials which are biodegradable too.
Our jewellery pouches are made from a combination of recycled vegan leather and marine waste captured from our oceans, such as old fishing nets. These are GRS certified and a sustainable and durable alternative to traditional microfibre fabric.
LOVINGLY CRAFTED TO LAST
In an industry so often characterised by throwaway culture, we believe we carry a responsibility to oversee how each of our pieces comes into being.
Designed to be coveted and treasured as keepsakes for years to come. We offer a 6 month warranty on every piece we sell.
Global impact
We've partnered with Greenspark to strengthen our impact for both the planet, and its people. From fighting extreme poverty to combatting plastic waste, we’re ensuring every purchase you make becomes a force for good.
EDEN REFORESTATION PROJECTS
FIGHTING POVERTY THROUGH REFORESTATION
Every time you buy with us, you’re supporting the planting of over 20 million trees every month.
By employing local communities to plant trees, Eden Reforestation Projects are combating climate change while fighting extreme poverty around the globe.
CHACAYES HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT
SUPPORTING THE WORLD’S TRANSITION TO RENEWABLE ENERGY
Created by the UN, the Chacayes hydroelectric project provides a renewable energy source for the main supply grid in Chile, powering over 300,000 homes.
Thanks to the ongoing support of conscious consumers like yourselves, the project has helped reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 340,000 tons each year — the equivalent annual emission of 52,000 UK citizens.
PLASTIC BANK
RECYCLING PLASTIC WASTE & EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES
Every year, 8 million tonnes of plastic waste finds its way into our rivers and oceans — with devastating consequences to marine life.
By creating ethical recycling ecosystems in coastal communities, Plastic Bank prevents thousands of tonnes of plastics reaching our waterways, while providing empowering income for those
who collect it.
IMPROVED COOK STOVES IN MALAWI
PROVIDING SAFER STOVES FOR RURAL FAMILIES
Every year, an estimated 4 million deaths are caused by exposure to toxic smoke from traditional fires, predominantly among women and children.
This UN-led project helps transition rural households in Malawi to safer, greener and more energy-efficient cook stoves. As well as saving lives, these modern alternatives save over 2.5 tonnes of carbon every year.

A LOOK TO THE FUTURE
Our sustainability journey doesn’t end here. We’re on the road to becoming carbon neutral, and are working on making our jewellery 100% recycled. We don’t have all the answers – but we’re always learning. We too are on a journey of discovery, both as individuals and as a collective.
